Back Where He Belongs: Shaun Harvey Joins JJ's Gore

There's something to be said for coming home, and that's exactly how Shaun Harvey describes his move into Sales at JJ's Gore branch.

Shaun's Ag career kicked off in 1994 as an apprentice with John Deere, where he trained up to A grade heavy diesel mechanic. He spent years in field service and breakdown work before stepping into a service manager role, and eventually sales, clocking up 14 years with the brand in total.

From there, he's built over 15 years of experience across the Ag and machinery sector, with some of the most reputable agribusinesses around the region working in sales, parts and territory management along the way.

With a resume that covers a lot of ground, Shaun reckons nothing quite compares to agriculture. Raised on a sheep and beef farm just out of Gore, it's the people and the conversations he's missed most, the day-to-day of talking machinery with farmers and contractors who are out there getting the job done.

Shaun says, ‘I’m really looking forward to getting back into the sector, supporting our farming clients, having good yarn and helping get the right gear placed for the job.’
