We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our expanding Timaru Branch.
About the Role:
You’ll be working with industry-leading agricultural machinery and technology from major brands, supporting farmers and contractors across the region. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic skills, and a passion for agricultural equipment.
What We’re Looking For:Proven experience with tractors, telehandlers, and agricultural machinery
Baler experience an advantage
Hands-on knowledge of major agricultural brands
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Minimum Requirements:
Background in Agricultural diesel mechanics
High standard of mechanical skills and attention to detail
Able to work unsupervised and take initiative
Eligibility to work in New Zealand

Our ideal applicant will have experience working with major agriculture brands, be a motivated person who wishes to advance their career, has an ability to learn new skills quickly and a strong understanding of diagnostic problem solving skills.
Previous experience with tractors and/ or agriculture machinery is a must. We offer training on the job for AGCO products and will also send you to factory run service schools.
Minimum Requirements: Excellent mechanical skills and high standard of workmanship Be able to work unsupervised and have great customer relationship skills Have experience in the diesel mechanic industry Have experience working in the agriculture machinery with major tractor brands
