Jackson Taylor Joins JJ Limited Christchurch Sales Team

The team at JJ’s are pleased to announce that Jackson Taylor's swapping his workshop overalls for the road, taking on the Sales role for North Canterbury out of JJ's Christchurch.

After jumping in, completing his apprenticeship, and learning the technical aspects of all things tractors, Jackson knows machinery from the ground up. Something that the management of JJ’s thinks will translate well into sales. But that kind of hands-on know-how doesn't just disappear when you step into sales; if anything, it means he can talk machinery with you properly, not just recite a brochure.

Jackson grew up on a farm in the North Island, so this isn't new territory for him, it's home ground. He studied at Lincoln University and has put in time contracting as well, so he's seen the industry from a few different angles. Ask him about a baler or a spray rig and he'll know exactly what you're on about.

He's also got a genuine interest in where farming's heading, the tech side of things, new gear, better ways of doing things on-farm. That curiosity, paired with a solid grounding in the machinery itself, means he's well set up to help North Canterbury farmers find the right gear for the job.

Jackson says, “I'm excited to work with the hard-working farmers that make Canterbury such an awesome place to be."

Give Jackson a wave if you see him out and about, or better yet, call in to the Christchurch branch for a yarn, he'll always be keen for a chat.
