CHARACTERISTICS

The TGI mulcher series is designed for robust performance in forestry applications, featuring bodies constructed from high-strength steel for durability. Each model in the series is equipped with metallic plate protection at the front, with optional chains for added safety. The mulchers include sliding skids for enhanced maneuverability and a rear roller that allows for precise ground adjustment.

The linkage system employs a fixed three-point reinforced design centered on the working width, ensuring stability during operation. The rotor is fitted with floating hammers fastened using 20 mm bolts, providing effective cutting performance. Transmission is achieved through five belts, facilitating a gearbox that features a built-in freewheel and a standard input shaft size of 1 3/8” Z6, with options for 1,000 RPM operation by reversing the pulleys.

Technical specifications include working widths ranging from 2.20 to 2.80 meters, requiring input power between 85 and 100 HP, and a maximum allowed power of 150 HP. The rotor has a cutting diameter of 440 mm, with a set number of hammers and blades varying by model, offering up to 34 hammers and 102 blades. The TGI series includes options such as rear rakes, additional rotor configurations, and protective elements, along with maintenance kits designed to ensure long-term operational efficiency.

Specific models in the TGI series include HM5G22, HM5G24, HM5G26, and HM5G28, each varying in weight from 845 to 915 kg, providing solutions tailored to different operational needs within the forestry sector.
