Nigel grew up in Southland and then gained a diploma in farm management at Lincoln, after which he spent a few years dairy farming before going on his OE. He then spent a number of years working on a large scale cropping farm, near Christchurch, growing potatoes, carrots and onions amongst other things.

For the last 20 years he has been a self-employed agricultural contractor, but decided he was looking for a change and has joined the team at JJ's. Nigel brings with him a wealth of knowledge and is able to help you with all your agriculture machinery needs. In his free time he enjoys training for and competing in multisport events and is the captain of the VERTIGOATS adventure racing team.

Chris was born and raised in Gore, the country music capital of New Zealand. After leaving school he qualified as a butcher but held a keen interest and love for farming. Spending his weekends and as much free time as possible on farms, Chris eventually decided to follow his calling and started a new career in the ag industry. Most of his working life has now been spent in the agriculture industry with a long stint spent in Western Australia in the “wheat belt” operating large scale machinery.

After returning to New Zealand Chris spent almost 10 years as an operations manager for a large scale dairy business in the Maniototo area of Central Otago. Chris’s extensive experience in various roles within the agriculture industry have provided him excellent knowledge of what the modern farmers needs are.

With his well rounded knowledge, passion for farming and excellent customer service, Chris looks forward to helping you get the most out of your machine and our services.
